As part of the Grand History of cannabis project we made a book that tells the stories of all the first cannabis pioneers of Holland. The book is a clear map of what is depicted in the overall artwork. This Softcover A4 (29,7cm x 21cm) sized book counts 62 colourful pages and is rich in art and tale - a true must have for any cannabis and/or history enthousiast.
The artwork and the book depict a short but turbulent time in Netherlands - from about the 60s until the late 2000s the Netherlands were the epicenter of what was cannabis globally during that time. The laws that were created during the very liberal 70s opened the door for many cannabis refugees to come to Holland and together with the adventurous native Dutch they teamed up to work on their craft and lay the foundation for what is cannabis we know today - without this small liberal country cannabis would not be what it is today.
