The Plant Growers Deck
A verdant enigma for plant growers and seed sowers
“The Mossy Giant Plant Grower’s Deck” is a 12 piece deck of cards for all growers, tokers, farmers, cultivators, herbalists, botanists, art fanatics and horticulturists. Every moon cycle we will gift a new card with an element that is part of the alchemy of growing a plant from seed to harvest.
This deck of cards is to be collected and cherished like your life springing topsoils and functions as a planters guide for every cycle of growing. Use the card to set your intention for your next planting of seeds or pheno-hunt. Find out what the Universe might throw at you in the greenhouse or garden this coming spring and summer. Will there be a blessing of many bees buzzing around? Or a new family of compost producing worms living in your soils? Will your plants be generous and supply you with heavy resinous flowers? The cards will tell the tale and give guidance from seedling to fully grown harvestable crop.
This deck of tale-telling cards is slowly being created over the coming year(s) with no rush or fast intentions. The cards serve as a welcome side project next to the bigger and more time consuming artworks that are omni-present on the Mossy Giant drawing table. Above all this set of cards and drawings serves as a personal project and a deep need to draw a deck of tarot cards but in a style and story meant for people who grow plants.
Hopefully the cards can serve as a way to learn about cultivation and bring intention to your gardens.
The first 12 cards are shown above, new cards will be added sporadically and without any time constraint - this deck of cards will be finished when the wizard arrives, meaning it will not be to late and never to early, it will be with you right on time.
